Thursday, March 21, 1935Death of Mrs. C. E. Rollstin
Mrs. C. E. Rollstin, well known resident of Madison county, died at the General hospital in Des Moines March 19. She was 50 years old and had been ill for several weeks.
Mrs. Rollstin was born Minnie May Haynes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Haynes, near St. Charles on February 27, 1885. On January 29, 1902, she was married to C. E. Rollstin of Winterset. For the last eight years they have lived on a farm near Lorimor.
Mr. and Mrs. Rollstin were the parents of three children. Earle and Merle died in infancy and a daughter, Mabel died seven years ago. The deceased leaves her husband, her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Haynes, three brothers, Sanford , Roy and Clarence of Des Moines, three sisters, Mrs. Edna Landers of Arispie, Mrs. Ida Johnson of Jefferson and Mrs. Flo Golliday of Des Moines.
