Mrs. M. R. Sheldon, of Monroe township, died at her home last Monday morning, after a lingering and painful sickness. Las week she was thought to be improving, but on Sunday she grew rapidly worse, and on Monday morning the end came. A most worthy family is thus bereaved of wife and mother.

In Memoriam

Christina C., wife of M. R. Sheldon, departed this life at their home in Monroe township, Madison county, Iowa, February the 7th, 1890, after a lingering illness, in the 43d year of her age.

Sister Sheldon died in the triumphs of a living faith, having been a member of the Methodist church for a number of years, until last spring when she united with the Evangelical association, of which she was a faithful member.

Funeral services were conducted by G. W. McCracken, her pastor.
