STOCK—Died, in Douglas township, Madison county, Iowa, January 25, 1890, Albert Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stock; aged five years, eleven months and twenty five days.

This loved little boy was another victim in within the limits of one week was led from vigorous health to the grave. ----- a favorite in the family, his death is a hard blow to the father and mother, his sisters and brothers. Yet amid all their tender care, aided by physician’s and help of kind neighbors, death came and released the suffering body from----. The spirit, the life, that which will be forever, went to God, who gave it.

Lee was a bright, promising boy. His father and mother will miss the will---- and swift feet, doing little---- at their bidding. The brothers will lose a loved playmate. His schoolmates will no more hear his merry voice on the play ground. Yet, dear ---, in this sad bereavement, and all affliction of this life, let us be resigned to the will of our Father in Heaven. Trust in him for His grace, love and serve Him as we live and all will be well when we are called to die. We shall greet our loved ones that have gone. Monday the 27, the little body was conveyed to the Worthington cemetery, and after a funeral service at the church, was laid in its last resting place.
