Funeral services for Thomas Lawrence Kirvin of Winterset were held Wednesday morning April 15 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father John E. Cunningham officiating.
Mr. Kirvin died Saturday April 11, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was 83 years old.
Born in Lostant, Illinois on October 8, 1897, he was the son of Thomas Kirvin and Frances Wingle.
A retired farmer, he lived in the Winterset area most of his life and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Patrick and John.
Survivors include a brother, William Kirvin of Minneapolis, Minn., and two sisters, Frances Langford and Alice Miller also of Minneapolis.
Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
