August 15, 1935Death of JOHN L. LAUGHLIN, Jr.
John L. Laughlin, 26, of Booneville, died Tuesday at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines. He had been ill for a week with pneumonia. He was a graduate of the Capital City Commercial College of Des Moines.
His mother, Mrs. John (Julia) Laughlin with whom he lived on a farm in Lee township, two brothers and seven sisters, survive.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday, August 16th, at Cumming, and burial will be in the St. Patrick's cemetery near there.
