MRS. ALFRED CUMMINGS Died Here Thursday

Mrs. Alfred Cummingns, a resident of Winterset for the past several years, died at her home here Tuesday. She had undergone an operation at a Des Moines hospital several weeks ago, and was thought to have recovered sufficiently to be brought home, but died suddenly shortly after reaching her home here Tuesday. She was 50 years of age.

Mrs. Cummings was the former Katherine Edghill, daughter of James and Alice Edghill, and she was born July 1, 1894, in Franklin county, Nebraska. She was married Oct. 7, 1917, to Alfred Cummings.

She leaves her husband; and four sons, Alfred of Washington, D.C., and Robert, Kenneth and Wayne of Winterset.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
