Louise Crookes, Lorimor

Louise Crookes, 87, of Lorimor died Feb. 25, 2005, at Winterset Care Center North.

Graveside services were held Monday, Feb. 28, at the Lorimor Cemetery.

Louise Crookes was born June 30, 1917, in Waldron, Ark., to Lloyd and Della (Johnson) Allen. On March 20, 1959, she married Frank Crookes in Las Vegas, Nev. Louise lived in California for most of her married life. She also resided in Lorimor for five years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Buddy Allen; and a sister, Mickie Barker.

She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Dahl of Mancos, Colo., and Linda Crispin of Lorimor; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
