Funeral services for Wendell Allen Kirk of Lorimor were held Monday, Nov 27, at 1:30 p.m. from the Lorimor United Methodist Church. Mr. Kirk died Nov. 23 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was 57 years of age.
A son of George and Elsie Allen Kirk, he was born in Madison county of Jan. 4, 1921.
He married Maxine Morrow on Aug. 15, 1942 at Bethany, MO.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Allen of Lorimor; a daughter, Donna (Mrs. Bob) Williams of Norwalk; and a sister, Lena Watson of Des Moines.
Officiating at the funeral services were Rev. Kathryn McDougal and Rev. Jim Morris. Burial was in the Union cemetery of Clarke county.
