In Memoriam.

Mrs. Elizabeth Williams was born in Rockbridge county, Va., in 1814. She removed with her sister to Indiana in early life. She was married to Henry Northern in 1846 and removed to Iowa in 1856. She was remarried to Nathan Williams in 1867. She united with the church of God in early life and lived a devoted christian for many years. She died Friday, Oct. 4, 1889 at her residence in this city.

The deceased had been in feeble health for the past seven years. A few months since she suffered the fracture of an arm which was followed by other complications resulting in her death. She was loved and respected by those who knew her. The funeral took place Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. from the Methodist church, conducted by the pastor.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
