Anna Jane Rhoads, 75, died Friday, August 19, 1977, at Villa West Care Center. A lifetime resident of Madison County, she was born January 14, 1902 to George and Mary Jane McMichael Hartfield at St. Charles.
On November 28, 1923, she married Ross Rhoads at St. Charles. Mrs. Rhoads was a member of the Lilies of the Valley neighborhood club.
She is survived by her son Lester of Winterset, three grandsons, and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Rhoads was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant son, brother and sister.
Services were held Monday, August 22, at Collins Funeral Home. Rev. David Livingston officiated. Burial wwas made at Winterset cemetery.
