Died At Farm Where He Was Born 79 Years Ago. Funeral Held Sunday.
James Wilson, who spent all his life in this community, passed away on the night of Friday, November 8, at the old homestead north of Earlham where he was born more than 79 years ago.
James Wilson, son of Samuel and Mary Mills Wilson was born April 14, 1856 on the farm where he lived all his life except a few years he spent on a farm a short distance away. Later he returned to the old homestead to live and where his life passed into the great Beyond on the night of November 8, 1935, age 79 years, seven months and 24 days. His illness was short and without great suffering and he passed into the Valley of the Shadow of Death, quietly, peacefully as he had lived.
Six sisters have preceded him in death and there remains to mourn his passing one brother, Jehu Wilson, five nieces, nine nephews, eight grand nephews, five grand nieces, two great great nephews.
