Funeral services for Mrs. Ima G. Howe were held at the M. E. church at Truro, August 6. The Rev. R. Underwood of the M. E. church of Osceola was in charge. Burial was made in the Ebenzer (Ebenezer) cemetery. Mrs. Howe died August 4, at the age of 67 years.
Mrs. Howe was a long-time resident of Truro. She was the daughter of J. C. and Emma C. Ellis, and was born in Madison county on April 23, 1868. She was married to Eugene E. Howe on June 26, 1889, at her home near Truro. They were the parents of six children, five sons and a daughter.
Mrs. Howe’s entire life was lived in Iowa. As a young woman she united with the Friends church in Truro. After moving to Ft. Dodge she transferred her membership to the M. E. church of that city.
Mrs. Howe is survived by her husband, four sons, and a daughter. The children are Raymond, Raleigh and Leo Howe, of Osceola, Marion Howe of Albion, and Mrs. Buelah McComas of Osceola. One son, Earl died in 1918. She also leaves a sister Mrs. Iona Neideigh of Redfield, and a brother, R. E. Ellis of Boulder, Colorado, and seventeen grandchildren.

Mrs. E. E. Howe, aged 65 years, former Clarke county resident, passed away at Mount Pleasant, Sunday afternoon at four o’clock after a prolonged illness. Funeral services conducted by Rev. R. Underwood of this city were held from the M. E. church at Truro this afternoon at 2:30.
Surviving in and near Osceola are the husband; a daughter Mrs. Floyd McComas and two sons, Rolla and Ray Howe.

Ima G., daughter of J. C. and Emma C. Ellis, was born in Madison county, Iowa, April 23, 1868, and passed to her reward on August 4, 1935. She had reached the age of 67 years 3 months and 11 days.
She was united in marriage to Eugene E. Howe, June 26, 1889, at her home in Madison county near Truro, Iowa. To this union were born six children, five sons and one daughter.
Mrs. Howe has lived her entire life in Iowa. She confessed faith in Christ when just a young woman and united with the Friends church in Truro. After moving to Ft. Dodge she transferred her membership to the M. E. church of that city. She remained a faithful and true follower of her Lord until He called her home.
She leaves her husband and four sons, Raymond, Raleigh, Leo all of Osceola, and Marion of Albion, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Beulah, McComas of Osceola. One son, Earl, preceded her in death on August 6, 1918. There are seventeen grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Iona Neidiegh of Redfield, Iowa; also one brother R. E. Ellis of Boulder, Colo.
She was a good companion and a true mother; a faithful friend and neighbor.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Truro, Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. R. Underwood of the M. P church here. Music included a duet by Mrs. Lyle Foster and Mrs. Guy Painter with Mrs. W. G. Bagg at the piano.
Pall bearers were: Messrs. L. V. Smith, F. P. Hedrick, Oscar Patterson, S. A. Wilson, Warren McComas and Purley Smith.
Interment was made in Ebenezer cemetery near Truro.
