GEORGE M. FULMER Dies at 61 Years

George M. Fulmer, a resident of Madison county the last eight years, died at his home east of Winterset last Thursday, Nov. 6, 1947, at the age of 61 years. He had been ill a short time following a heart attack.

Mr. Fulmer had come to Madison county eight years ago and lived in the Truro community for several years, before moving to the place east of Winterset where his death occurred.

He was a native of Iowa, having been born at Muchakinock on June 7, 1886. As a young man he was married to Zula McCoy. They were the parents of the one daughter, with the wife and mother dying a few months later.

His second marriage was to Bessie Fitzgerald. In their home was reared her daughter by a former marriage.

Surviving are the wife; the daughter, Mrs. Maxine Fitzgerald; the step daughter, Mrs. Vera Sheldon; all of Truro; and a brother, John Fulmer of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Truro Christian church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. V. R. Willey. Burial was made in the Truro cemetery.
