SARAH ELLEN WARNER

The remains of Mrs. Benjamin Warner a former resident of this county, were brought here Wednesday for burial. The funeral occurred from the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. Atwood. Interment was made in the Primitive Baptist cemetery north of town.

Sarah Ellen Evans was born in Des Moines county, Iowa, June 8, 1849, and died at Kansas City, Mo., August 12, 1910, aged 61 years, 2 months and 4 days. She was married to Henry L. Woolsey in 1871. To this union were born four children of which two are still living, John E. and Eugene A. Woolsey both of Kansas City who accompanied the remains here for burial. Her husband, H. L. Woolsey, was killed in 1881, and she was married again in 1905 to Benjamin Warner, who survives her.

She leaves to mourn her loss, a number of relatives living in this county, Mrs. Adela Carter, Mrs. A. S. Speer, and H. S. and M. A. Getchel.

She united with the Baptist church of this city during the pastorate of Rev. Peck. After several years of suffering from an incurable disease, which she has borne with christian grace, she trustfully passed out of this life into that other life and home which God has prepared for those who love him.
