The St. Charles Reporter brings this item: Stephen Lathrum died on Wednesday of last week.

Transcriber's note: The gravestone for Stephen Lathrum appears to show a death date of November 22, 1888. The newspaper's account puts his death at November 2, 1887 (which is a Wednesday). Discrepancys of this nature on gravestones are rare but do happen.
