Page 1, Column 2Death of Mrs. Harvey Wright
Mrs. Harvey Wright succumbed to flu pneumonia on Tuesday evening after a brave fight against the disease. Mrs. Wright first had the grip, then when Mr. Wright came down with the same disease a week ago Sunday, she threw off her own indisposition, resuming the care of her husband and two children until forced to give up when her lungs became involved.
Before her marriage, she was Miss Stella Ireland of Cincinnati, Iowa. Six of the seven years of her married life have been spent in Winterset, where she endeared herself to all who knew her by reason of her happy disposition. Her earnest interest in church work rendered her a great help to the local Church of Christ. At the time of her death, her father and two sisters were here from Cincinnati. Mr. Wright accompanies the body to Cincinnati tonight for burial.
Mrs. Wright's death early in life, leaving two small children to grow up without the love and influence of their mother, will touch a deeply responsive chord in the hearts of this community. In these peculiarly sad circumstances, Mr. Wright will be supported by the deepest sympathy of the public.
