MRS. MARGARET CLARK

Margaret Armstrong was born at Middletown, Harrisburg county, Pennsylvania, Feb. 9, 1830. She was united in marriage to Joseph Clark, Sept. 22, 1849.

The Clarks came to Douglas township, Madison county in 1870, after having resided about ten years in Norwood, Ill. In 1875, Mr. Clark died and though Mrs. Clark has spent much of her time away from here, she always regarded Madison county as her home.

During the past two years, she has been quite infirm and has spent most of that time with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Stull of St. Edwards, Nebr., where she died Nov. 14th, 1913.

There are seven children remaining, as follows: Mrs. Mary Cline, Dexter, Iowa; Mrs. Henry Stull of St. Edwards, Nebr.; Henry Clark of Nesbit, S.D.; Thomas Clark of Chamberlain, S.D.; David Clark of Bristow, Nebr.; William Clark of Winterset; Maggie Tullis of Alvin, Texas.

The deceased was converted and united with the Pressbyterian church in youth and remained a faithful exemplary member until her death.

The remains were brought here and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. S. Corkey at the Presbyterian church yesterday at two p.m.
