October 16, 1918Four Madison Young Men Die of Disease in Hospitals During This Week.
WALTER I. WILSON,
A fourth death is that of Walter I. Wilson, son of Mrs. Sarah Porter Wilson, who lives eleven miles south of Winterset on the Lorimor road.
Walter Wilson, who went to Camp Dodge Sept 5th, 1918, had been sick for about a week; pneumonia causing his death yesterday morning.
He was the only child of his widowed mother and since the death of his father a year ago, he has been her constant companion. His solicitude and care for his mother are among her choicest memories.
He was a nephew of Mayor Wilson and Mrs. J. S. Baker of Winterset, and William L. Wilson of Des Moines.
Note: Burial was made in Hamblin Cemetery.
