The remains of John Armstrong of Des Moines were interred in the cemetery at Patterson last Tuesday. Deceased used to live at St. Charles and Patterson and was known as "Whistling John". He had just recently recovered from a serious spell of sickness and last Friday while visiting Camp McKinley dropped dead in his tracks.
