Died last Monday morning at 6:20 o'clock, Mr. Charles Maalam of this place. He had been an invalid for nearly four years and was 44 years old. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his departure. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Lowe Tuesday, the deceased being a member of the Church of Christ.

C. B. Mallam died at his home in the northeast part of town, at about six o’clock last Monday. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the Church of Christ. Mr. Mallam had been sick at intervals for more than a year. He had lived in this county ten or fifteen years, and at the time of his death was 43 years old. He leaves a family consisting of a wife, three sons and a daughter.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
