Graveside Service For CARL NOFTSGER

Graveside services for Carl M. Noftsger, 79, of Winterset Care Center North were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the Winterset Cemetery with Rev. David Livingston officiating. Mr. Noftsger died June 18, 1979, at Madison County Memorial Hospsital.

Born on May 13, 1900 in Decatur County, he was the son of Bert and Mary Catherine Craft Noftsger. He was married to Hattie Simpson on August 21, 1926 in Osceola. A retired farmer, Mr. Noftsger had lived in Winterset about seven years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Hattie; a son, Carl of Des Moines; two daughters, Coleen Hackett of Palmer and Margaret Faulkner of Milwaukee, Wis.; a brother, Pearl of Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
