ALICE ARMSTRONG

Little Alice, only child of Asa and Goldie (Turk) Armstrong was born Oct. 3, 1919, and after having tarried here among loving parents and friends the brief time of 4 months and 18 days, was taken back into the arms of Jesus at an early hour Sunday, Feb. 22, 1920.

Although her visit here was short, yet she taught her fond parents the true meaning of love, made greater, perhaps, because of her affliction from birth. No tender care nor the best of medical skill was spared that she might be restored, but all to no avail, so she is gone, leaving to tread the earlthly road her parents; Geo Armstrong, the only grandparent; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 23, from the Zion Community church, conducted by Rev. Frank M. Ullery and the remains were laid to rest in the Winterset cemetery.
