DEATH OF GEORGE AMY

George Amy, aged resident of Madison county, died at the county farm, Thursday, January 25th, at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 3 days. He was the son of John and Adaline Amy, and was born in Ohio, March 21st, 1852. When he was four years of age he came to this county, with his parents, and he had since made this community his home.

Two brothers, John and Eugene have preceded him in death, and he leaves two sisters, Alice of Oregon and Mary of Colorado.

The Rev. H. L. Olmstead, conducted his funeral services, Friday, January 26th, at 2 o’clock at Tidrick’s Funeral Home.
