Agnes Alexander, second daughter of G. B. and Electa Alexander was born November 21, 1892.

As a child she was loving and obedient, worthy the affections of her parents whose love and affections she returned, gladdened their hearts by her happy unselfish disposition and winning ways. She grew through the succeeding stages of childhood a favorite with her friends and a continual source of pride to her parents.

Her girlhood was but the budding of the virtues and graces that abounded in her childhood. As she grew in years, she assumed the duties and obligations they brought. In her pure and innocent girlhood, eight years ago, she accepted Christ, and moulded her life accordingly to his teachings as she understood them. Ambitious promptings achieved unaided for her an education as the finishing touch in preparation for life’s work. With courage and high ideals she started to fill her place in life.

Disease attacked her and in spite of skilled physicians and all that loving hands and hearts could do, with a suddenness, that shocked all, death overtook her December 16, 1912, leaving to mourn a father, mother, brother, three sisters and relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Union Church Wednesday, December 18, conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis. Interment was made in the Clark cemetery.
