Sandy Leslie, 53, of Crane, Ind., died Oct. 2, 2007, at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Ind.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Oct. 6, at Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. Connie Wacht officiating.

Sandy Leslie was born April 6, 1954, in Superior, Neb., to Earl and Janet (Goodger) Leslie and lived in California the early part of her life. She was a graduate of Rohnert Park High School in Rohnert Park, Calif., and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. While residing in Indiana for the past several years, Sandy worked as an engineering technician at the Crane Naval Weapons Support Base.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Bert Leslie; and her grandparents, Kathryn Benoit and Bert and Velma Leslie.

She is survived by her stepmother, Judy Leslie of Winterset; two brothers, Craig Leslie of San Raphael, Calif., and Dan Leslie of Grimes; and two sisters, Cathy Acker of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Sherry Stowe of Des Moines.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.

Arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel & Funeral Services in Winterset.
