Caroline (Brown) Longenecker

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. C. LONGENECKER

Funeral services were held at Wilson Funeral Home in Winterset for Mrs. Caroline Longenecker, Sunday, January 22. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Walter Samp.

Casket bearers were George Shade, Charles McMurray, Kenneth Ritter, Dale Simmons, Don Young and Ben Henry. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

She was born at Woodburn, Iowa. Her parents were Charles Brown and Elizabeth Tovey Brown. On December 24, 1913 she and Clarence B. Longenecker were married at Afton. In 1915 they moved to Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother and one sister.

Mrs. Longenecker is survived by her husband, Clarence; her daughter, Mrs. H. Claude Peer, two grandsons, a brother, Arthur Brown of St. Joseph, Missouri, and a sister, Marchie Brown of Kellogg, Iowa.
