Last Sunday morning about 2 o’clock occurred the death of little Ralph Fife from an abscess. Just about a week ago he began to complain of not feeling well and grew rapidly worse. All was done for him that was possible but to no avail. For the last four days of his life he lay in a delirious state, never regaining consciousness. Rev. H. D. W. Garrett conducted the services, the West Star M. E. choir sang some very touching numbers. The interment took place at the Worthington cemetery.
