Wednesday, April 22, 1970FUNERAL HELD FOR LOLA MINER
Mrs. Lola M. Miner of Winterset, whose death had occurred at Horton Nursing home April 13, was buried in the Winterset cemetery last Friday. Funeral services were conducted that day from the Collins Funeral home, with the Rev. E. E. Jandebeur, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset, officiating.
Mrs. Miner was 85 years of age at her death, and had been a resident of Madison county for 38 years. She was the former Lola M. Snyder, daughter of Sylvester and Elizabeth Hornan Snyder, and was born March 14, 1885, at Carl, Iowa. She was the youngest of 15 children in that family. She was married at Prescott in 1911 to Arthur Miner. His death occurred in 1954.
Surviving are a son, Woodrow Miner of Winterset; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Easter of Spencer; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Parish of Fairfield.
