Wednesday, May 27, 1970SARAH SIMPSON DIES IN GEORGIA
Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the United Methodist church at St. Charles for Sarah E. Simpson, a resident of that community most of her life, whose death had occurred May 16 at Forest Park, Ga.
Miss Simpson was a daughter of James and Ellen Simpson, and was born at St. Charles Oct. 7, 1899. She was 70 years of age at her death.
She lived at St. Charles until 1962, when she moved to California. Two years ago she moved from there to Georgia.
She was a member of the St. Charles Methodist church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Grace Finck of Santa Monica, California; and a niece, Mrs. C. R. Smith of Forest Park, Ga.
The Rev. James Louk, pastor of the St. Charles Methodist church, officiated at the services Wednesday. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
