MRS. O. SCHWANEBECK DIED HERE FRIDAY

Mrs. Oscar Schwanebeck of Winterset died last Friday, May 22, at Madison Manor in Winterset. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Schwanebeck had been a resident of Madison county since 1945. She was a native of Fontanelle, and her early life was spent in Adair county.

She was the former Elizabeth Rosina Winter, daughter of George and Anna Decker Winter, and was born Jan. 27, 1885. She was married to Oscar Schwanebeck at Fontanelle on Oct. 5, 1904. His death occurred in 1964.

She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran church of Winterset, and of the missionary society of that church.

Surviving are three sons, Otis, Wilfreid, and A. L. Schwanebeck, all of Winterset. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Rosa Dickey of Greenfield.

Funeral services were held Monday from the St. Paul Lutheran church here, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Edward R. Zaiser. Burial was made in the Greenfield cemetery.
