RITES AT CRESTON FOR HERB GARRETT

Herb Garrett, former Winterset resident, who had lived in Creston, for a number of years, died suddenly at his home there, Sunday, June 21st, at the age of 80 years. A heart attack caused his death.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys, a brother Eldon, in Creston and another brother Clyde who resides in Missouri.

Funeral services were held in Creston, last Tuesday morning, and brief services were held at the Fairview Cemetery north of Winterset where he was buried.

In addition to his wife, and his two brothers and their families, who came here for the burial rites were Mrs. Roy Ross and daughter Betty of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
