MRS. GEORGE GUION OF WINTERSET DIES

Mrs. George F. Guion of Winterset died at her home here Sunday, Aug. 23, at the age of 78 years.

Mrs. Guion had been a resident of Madison county the last 27 years, coming here from St. Louis, Mo.

She was the former Italia Theresa Scribante, daughter of Secundo and Virginia Perotti Scribante, and was born in Osage City, Kan., on May 19, 1892.

She was married at St. Louis in 1909 to George F. Guion. His death occurred in 1961.

Mrs. Guion was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Buckles of St. Louis and Mrs. Margaret Tuttle of Winterset; and a son, Robert Guion of Winterset. One son, George Guion, Jr., preceded her in death.

She also leaves 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Madeline Ogliaro of Osage City, Kan.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. this Wednesday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by Marvin Kanne of Bevington. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
