BEULAH TRAVIS, TEXAS

Beulah M. Travis. 103, of Carrollton, Tex. died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Atria Assisted Living in Carrollton.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m., at the Winterset Cemetery in Winterset. Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare handled the arrangements.

Beulah Travis was born August 8, 1904 in Dexter, Iowa, to Gene and Myrtle Satterlee. On March 17, 1929 she married Don Travis. Beulah was a farmwife and later assisted her husband with Farmer's Mutual Fire and Tornado Insurance. They made their home in Winterset in 1953. After Don's death Beulah moved to Bentonville.

Beulah remained a faithful member of the Methodist Church. Beulah is survived by her daughter, Shirley Means of Carrollton, Tex.; son Larry K. Travis of San Antonio, Tex.; brothers Max Satterlee of Peru, and Oren Satterlee of Bentonville, Ark.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers.
