LLOYD ALLGEYER DIES AT 77 YEARS

Lloyd Allgeyer of San Diego, Calif., member of a well-known Madison county family, died Monday, Sept. 14 at San Diego after a brief illness. He was 77 years of age.

Mr. Allgeyer was born in Douglas township, March 9, 1893, a son of Charles and Ellen Allgeyer. He spent his early life there. He served in the U. S. armed forces during World War I.

He was married to Mildred Louk on Sept. 15, 1926. They moved to San Diego in 1941, and he was employed in the aircraft industry there until his retirement.

His parents, two sisters and two brothers, including his twin brother, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Mildred; and a sister, Mrs. Virginia Monaghan of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Thursday in San Diego, with burial in Rosecrans Military cemetery.
