DIED

PAYTON --Amanda R., wife of R. W. Payton, of Dallas county, died of consumption, on the morning of January 28th, 1878, being in her 39th year. For several weeks her sufferings were intense; but through all she was very patient and trustful. She was an earnest Christian from childhood.

(Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery)
