MRS. NETTIE GARRETT BURIED AT LORIMOR

Mrs. Nettie Garrett, a native of Madison county and a long-time resident of Lorimor, died Monday June 6 at Burlington, where she has lived in recent years. She was 83 years of age.

Mrs. Garrett was the former Nettie M. Callison, daughter of Victor and Julia Callison. She was born in Madison County until they moved in 1908 to Lorimor, where he engaged in business. Mr. Garrett died in 1941 and since then she had made her home with her daughter in Burlington.

She was a member of the Lorimor Methodist church, Eastern Star and the Women's Embroidery club of Lorimor.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Opal Bosier of Burlington; two granddaughters; a great granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Bullock of Long Beach, Calif.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Wells funeral home at Lorimor, and burial was made in the cemetery there.
