ZELPHA PACE OF PERU DIES

Mrs. Robert B. Pace of Peru, a resident of Madison county most of her life, died last Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Madison Manor in Winterset. She was 82 years of age.

Mrs. Pace was a native of Rushville, Ill., where she was born Nov. 27, 1887. She was the former Zelma Peacock, daughter of George and Sara Peacock.

She was married at Winterset on Dec. 24, 1912, to Robert B. Pace, who survives her.

She was a member of the Foursquare church here.

In addition to her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lorna Welch of Lorimor and Mrs. Fay Waters of Peru; five grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Winterset Foursquare church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Charles Updike. Burial was made in Hooten cemetery.
