The wife of Dr. A. B. Smith died at daybreak on December 13th. Elsie Smith was born in Fayette County, Indiana in 1839. She was the oldest daughter of John S. Stiles and came with her family to Iowa in 1856. Two years later in 1859, she was married to A. B. Smith.
