H. N. Laizure, a long-time resident of Madison county, died Thursday Feb. 21, at the McCauley Nursing home in Winterset. He was 80 years of age.
Mr. Laizure was born on a farm near Winterset on Sept. 14, 1871, a son of William H. and Nancy Lowe Laizure. His entire life was spent in farming.
Surviving are two brothers, Ralph Laizure of Los Angeles, Calif., and Lee Laizure of Winterset; two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn McDonald of Zanesville, O. and Belle Laizure of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 24, from the Richard Funeral home here, in charge of the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Chase-McDonald cemetery.
