TRURO-Funeral services were held last Friday from the Kale Funeral home for Alonzo M. Gracey, member of a well known family in this community, whose death occurred Monday, Nov. 24 at a nursing home in Osceola.
Mr. Gracey was 80 years of age at his death. He was born March 14, 1872, on a farm south of Truro and lived most of his life in this community. He had retired after an active life spent in farming.
He was married at Fairbault, Minn., in 1909 to Lillian L. Malquist. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, John Gracey of Des Moines, Foss Gracey of Truro and George Gracey of Stinnett, Texas; and two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Stone of Burlington and Mrs. Lois Toops of Kahoka, Mo.
