Funeral Services Held on Tuesday From Church of Christ
Mrs. Ollie L. Colvin, a resident of Madison county for 27 years, died Sunday March 2 at the Kenyon Nursing home in Des Moines. She was 84 years of age.
Mrs. Colvin was born at Argos, Ind. on Sept. 30, 1867. She was the former Ollie Lameda Curtis. She was married at Siloam Springs, Ark., on March 7, 1895 to J. R. Colvin who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Church of Christ; and was affiliated with the Rebekahs and Women's Relief corps.
She is survived by Harold C. Colvin of Des Moines, Juanita Stanfield of Ankeny; Montie Kinney of Winterset; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services were held from the Winterset Church of Christ Tuesday, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Sherman Hanson. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
