MRS. A. E. COGHLAN DIES AT 58 YEARS

Funeral Services Held On Tuesday, With Burial At Winterset

PERU-Mrs. Arnold E. Coghlan, member of a well known family in this community, died here Sunday, June 15 at the age of 53 years.

Mrs. Coghlan was born in Peru on Feb. 15, 1894, and had spent her entire life as a resident of Madison county. She was the former Frona B. Lilley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Lilley. She was married to Arnold E. Coghlan in Peru on Oct. 1, 1913. They were the parents of seven children, one of whom died in infancy.

As a young woman she had been a school teacher near Peru. She was a member of the Peru Methodist church.

Surviving are her husband; five sons, Maurice W. Coghlan, Marion L. Coghlan and Edgar R. Coghlan, all of Winterset, Lowell W. Coghlan of Junction City, Kan., and Curtis E. Coghlan of Peru; a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Cornish of Winterset; her mother, Mrs. Ross Seifred and her step-father J. F. Seifred; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from Richards Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
