MRS. IDA EIVINS DIES AT 81 YEARS

Death Occurred Thursday at Memorial Hospital in Winterset

Mrs. Ida V. Eivins, a resident of Madison county for 55 years died Thursday, May 28, at the Madison County Memorial hospital here. She was 81 years of age.

Mrs. Eivins was the former Ida Victoria Bates. She was born Aug. 26, 1871 in Story county. She was married at Winterset on June 6, 1896 to Issac Eivins. They were parents of seven children. One daughter, Bessie and her husband preceded her in death.

She was a member of Wesley Chapel church for many years and had joined the Presbyterian church after moving to Winterset.

Surviving are six children; Claude and Doyle Eivins of Macksburg, Mrs. Mildred Kerns of Ellston, Mrs. Florence Campbell of Jamestown, N. Dak., and Mrs. Gladys Binns and Floyd Eivins of Winterset. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from Wesley Chapel Sunday conducted by the Rev. Clement Rowe and the Rev. Donald Cutler. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
