FUNERAL AT TRURO FOR MRS. SCOTT, 66

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Kale Funeral home in Truro for Mrs. Mary Agnes Scott, 66.

A long-time resident of the Truro community, Mrs. Scott died April 16 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Archer in Winterset. She had been in failing health for several years.

The daughter of James and Malinda Elizabeth (Creger) Houlette, she was born at Truro on April 14, 1889. She was married to William P. Scott on September 19, 1905 at Winterset.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the Truro Methodist church and an honorary member of the Truro Garden club.

She is survived by her husband and 14 cousins.

Officiating at the funeral services was the Rev. A. R. Weed. Burial was in Hartman cemetery near Truro.
