EDWIN S. PARISH DIES

Edwin S. Parish, lifelong resident of the Grinnell community, died at the hospital in that city, Tuesday evening, January 11th at the age of 79 years. He had visited in Winterset a number of times, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Van Werden. He had been seriously ill, in the hospital, only a week.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Parish leaves six children: William Parish and Mrs. Wm. Jones of Moscow, Idaho, Mrs. G. Minton, Jr., of New York City, Edwin A. Parish of Los Gatos, California; Paul Parish of Grinnell and Mrs. Van Werden of Winterset. He is also survived by one brother, William Parish of Grinnell and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements had not been made, this noon, but they will be held in Grinnell, the latter part of the week.
