SERVICES HELD FOR CLARA V. THOMPSON

Funeral services were held Aug. 17 from the Fisher Funeral home at Van Meter for Clara V. Thompson, who was 43 years of age.

Miss Thompson who was the daughter of David H. and Emma Addy Thompson, died as she slept in her home Sunday, August 14th.

She had spent most of her life in Jefferson township, where she was born Oct. 18, 1911. She attended the Winterset high school. For 14 years after that she served as secretary in the office of Dr. A. G. Felter of Van Meter.

She was a member of the Jefferson Evangelical United Brethren church.

Surviving are her parents; a sister, Mrs. Mary Rogers of Bend, Ore., and two brothers, Glenn Thompson of Winterset and her twin, Clarence Thompson of Booneville.

The Rev. Aldreth V. Wiegel of Van Meter conducted her services Aug. 17. Burial was made in the Jefferson cemetery.
