RITES WEDNESDAY FOR ST. CHARLES RESIDENT

Emma Small, a life-long resident of the St. Charles community except for two years spent in Oregon, died Sunday, July 24, at her home in St. Charles. She was 84 years of age.

Miss Small was born in Warren county, near St. Charles, on July 12, 1871 and spent her life within 10 miles of that community, except for the sojourn in Oregon.

She was a member of Model chapter O.E.S., and the St. Charles Methodist church.

Nearest surviving relatives are a cousin, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the St. Charles Methodist church, conducted by ther pastor, the Rev. G. Eldon Haworth. burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
