FORMER MACKSBURG SCHOOL HEAD DIES

Rothmer A. Scott, former superintendent of schools at Macksburg, died Friday, Jan. 7, at Lamoni, where he had been teaching in recent years.

Mr. Scott headed the faculty of the Macksburg school from 1926 to 1935. For the last several years he had lived with a son at Lamoni, and taught in the schools there.

He leaves his wife, Ruth; a son, Edward; a daughter, Maralea; his mother; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at Lamoni.
