Charles W. Robinson, formerly of Truro, died Monday, Feb. 11, at his home in Des Moines. He was 72 years of age.
Mr. Robinson was born near Truro April 12, 1885, a son of Emory and Mahalia Bradshaw Robinson. He married Myrtle Hogue of Truro on Feb. 28, 1907. They were parents of one daughter. The wife and mother preceded him in death.
On Nov. 11, 1915, he was married to Vera Mae Owen of Truro. They also were parents of one daughter.
He lived in or near Truro until 1920, when he moved to Des Moines, where he was employed by the Des Moines City railway until his retirement in 1951.
He was a member of the Congregational church at Truro.
He leaves his wife; the two daughters, Mrs. Opal Woods of Truro and Mrs. Aural Patten of Des Moines; and two grandsons.
Funeral services were held Feb. 13 in Des Moines, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery there.
