Doris V. Richardson, 81, of Hemet, Calif., died May 13, 2002. She was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, Calif.

Doris Richardson was born in Madison County to Walter and Blanche King. She moved to Ensign, Kan., at the age of 7 and was a 1937 graduate of Cimarron Consolidated Schools in Cimarron, Kan. She had worked as an executive secretary for the Derby Oil Company in Wichita, Kan., before moving to the Los Angeles, Calif., area in 1953, where she had worked for the Superior Oil Company, Knudsen Creamery Company of California and Price Waterhouse & Company. Doris was married to William Richardson of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and a sister.

She is survived by a sister, Carolyn Bugg of Wichita, Kan.; five nephews and two nieces.
